Moscow Art Theater celebrated 125 years
All this time the MHT has been much more than just a theater.
This significant date has inspired us to look back on the road we have traveled and realize the full scale of our contribution to Russian and international theater culture.
An interactive journey through the rich history of the MHT awaits you. "Branches and Roots" is an online archive containing hundreds of articles about prominent people, events, schools, studios and theaters. All of this is presented on a tree-like map, where you can not only follow the development of any movement, but also build visual chains of connections between objects.
